Sports

CCF's Sports Ministry exists to transform lives and nations for Jesus through sports. At Centris that means leagues, clinics, and open play in the Sports Hall, each one building friendships that outlast the season.

Getting here

What it's like

Coming to Sports

01

Open play most weeknights

Basketball, badminton, and pickleball in the Sports Hall. Show up, get matched, play. Equipment available if you do not own any.

02

Leagues each season

Eight-week leagues open to the community, not just to CCF. Teams are paired with a sports ministry volunteer who prays with them before games.

03

Clinics for beginners

Four-week coaching blocks for people starting a sport from nothing. Most participants have never held a racket.

04

Play, then stay

There is a Dgroup that meets on the court after playing. It is the least intimidating entry point in the whole center.

Dgroups

Groups in this community

A community is where you meet people. A Dgroup is the handful you actually grow with.

We play first, then sit down on the court and open the Word. Bring shoes.

Want to book a court instead?

Reserve basketball, badminton, or pickleball courts directly. Open to everyone, member or not.

Questions

The things people ask first.

If yours is not here, ask anyone at the Welcome Center or send us a note.

Ask a question
Do I have to be a CCF member?
No. The Sports Hall is open to the community, and most people at open play are not CCF members.
What do I need to bring?
Non-marking indoor shoes are required on the sport floor. Paddles, rackets, and balls can be rented at the desk.
Will someone try to convert me?
No. You will be invited to things, and you can say no and keep playing. That happens all the time.

New to Sports?

Come to a gathering without telling anyone first. Check when we meet, and we will look for you at the door.
