CCF Centris

Single adults

B1G

B1G is CCF's community for single, not-yet-married adults, gathering to know more about Jesus and life's real purpose through Bible study and service. At Centris that means weekly gatherings, Dgroups, retreats, and a lot of sport.

Getting here

What it's like

Coming to B1G

01

Thursday gatherings

Worship and teaching aimed at the questions single adults actually have: work, purpose, family expectations, loneliness, and what to do with your twenties and thirties.

02

Dgroups that stick

B1G Dgroups are where most of the friendships form. Young professionals, students who have graduated, and anyone single and looking for people.

03

Retreats

A weekend away each year with teaching, rest, and a lot of unstructured time. It is the fastest way into the community.

04

Sport, constantly

B1G effectively runs on the Sports Hall. Basketball, badminton, and pickleball most weeknights, open to anyone who turns up.

Dgroups

Groups in this community

A community is where you meet people. A Dgroup is the handful you actually grow with.

Questions

The things people ask first.

If yours is not here, ask anyone at the Welcome Center or send us a note.

Ask a question
Is this a dating thing?
No. It is a community for single adults to know Jesus and life's real purpose. People do meet their spouse here, but that is not what it is for.
How old is everyone?
Broadly early twenties to late thirties, though nobody checks. Dgroups tend to cluster by life stage rather than age.
What if I'm single again rather than never married?
You are welcome. Say so when you come and we will point you to a group where that is understood.

New to B1G?

Come to a gathering without telling anyone first. Check when we meet, and we will look for you at the door.
